We build the shells container farms are built in.
40ʹ HC 45H5 reefer-class containers for vertical-farming and controlled-environment programs — insulated, cargo-rated, built to your spec and painted to your artwork at the line. OWLU® on the doors.
We are the container manufacturer behind production farm lines.
OWL builds the reefer-class shells for established vertical-farming product lines — in continuous production, run on schedule against operator demand rather than one-off builds.
Each unit is a custom 40-foot high-cube 45H5 reefer-class container, built to the customer’s spec at the factory, painted to their artwork at the line, and shipped under our OWLU® BIC owner prefix. Insulated, HVAC-ready, CSC-plated for international transit.
For an operator that means the container is a known quantity: a single spec, a single manufacturer, a single BIC prefix, and an audit trail back to the factory. For new programs in adjacent CEA categories — hydroponic, cannabis, mushroom, nursery, R&D — the same factory program can be tuned to a different spec sheet.
We don’t publish customer names or their deployment figures. Under NDA we can walk you through comparable programs in detail.
40-foot high-cube reefer-class. ISO 6346 type 45H5.
Reefer-class construction means the container ships insulated and HVAC-ready out of the factory — not retrofitted in a yard. Wall, floor, and ceiling insulation matched to controlled-environment service. Reefer end-wall cut for OEM HVAC integration.

Controlled-environment agriculture, at scale.
Indoor leafy-green and herb production — the category most of the units we build go into, and the spec our reefer-class shell is tuned for.
Nutrient-film, deep-water-culture, and ebb-and-flow setups. The reefer-class insulation and HVAC-ready electrical match the climate-control needs.
Climate-isolated grow rooms for cannabis operators in regulated jurisdictions. Per-container compliance — moveable, lockable, inspection-ready.
Humidity-controlled mushroom production, microgreens, propagation. Reefer-class construction holds temperature and humidity setpoints under continuous load.
Seedling and clone production for outdoor commercial operations. Mobile, deployable near the planting site — no permanent greenhouse capital.
Replicated trial environments for agricultural research. Container-as-lab. Same spec, ship anywhere, control variables.
Three angles on the same container.
Factory shots, OWLU®-prefixed reefer-class containers. Reefer end-wall HVAC cutout, insulated interior, and full operational spec stencils.
Build options at the factory line.
Painted at the factory line, to the customer’s artwork specification. Electrical and HVAC pre-cuts coordinated with the OEM integration spec.
Any RAL Classic, multi-color side panels, lettermark applications. Painted at the factory line — durable, uniform across the production run.
Wall, ceiling, and floor insulation matched to the controlled-environment thermal load. Closed-cell foam or rigid panel.
End-wall HVAC cutout, conduit runs, electrical panel locations, generator-ready terminations. Coordinated with the OEM integrator’s spec.
Standard cargo doors, side personnel doors, double-end. Lockboxes, custom hardware, tamper-evident seals.
Ships under OWLU®, ANYU, or LSEU (our three BIC-registered prefixes) or under your prefix if you hold one. Container-number block confirmed before deposit.
ISO 6346 plate, CSC Safety Approval, optional IICL pre-shipment survey at the factory. All compliant out of the gate.
Factory programs move in conversations.
Lead time, MOQ, paint specification, electrical spec, BIC number range — none of it fits a form. Ten minutes with us establishes the build envelope; the rest follows in writing.
