— Buyer questions

Common questions about the 20ʹ GP.

Is the 22G1 the same as what you call “standard 20ft”?

22G1 is the ISO 6346 type code for a 20-foot general purpose container at standard height (8ʹ6″). When you see “20ʹ GP” on our inventory matrix, this is what it is.

What’s the difference between this and a 20-foot HC?

Same footprint. The HC is one foot taller (9ʹ6″ external vs 8ʹ6″). For most storage and freight, the GP is the standard. HC matters when cargo is tall or modifications need ceiling height.
